Confucius's humble estimate of himself.
The Master said, "The silent treasuring up of knowledge; learning without satiety; and instructing others without being wearied:– which one of these things belongs to me?"
Legge VII.2.
The Master said, 'Quietly to store up knowledge w my mind, to learn without flagging, to teach without growing weary, these present me with no difficulties.'

Le Maître dit : « Engranger en silence les connaissances, apprendre sans éprouver jamais de satiété, enseigner sans jamais se lasser, quelle est [la difficulté] pour moi ? »
