Lunyu III. 11. (51)

The profound meaning of the great sacrifice.
Some one asked the meaning of the great sacrifice. The Master said, "I do not know. He who knew its meaning would find it as easy to govern the kingdom as to look on this" – pointing to his palm.

Legge III.11.

Someone asked about the theory of the ti sacrifice. The Master said, 'It is not something I understand, for whoever understands it will be able to manage the Empire as easily as if he had it here,' pointing to his palm.

Lau [3:11]

Sambil menunjuk tapak tangannya.
